Ride-on Mowers – Rotary/Cylinder/Flail Lantra ITA
There are a wide range of mowers in use today, and if they are used correctly and maintained properly then they should pose very little risk to you or to anyone that is near to the machine. Sometimes accidents can happen, normally for very simple reasons, and that is why training is always important.
The aim of our Ride-on Mower course is to provide you with an insight into safety awareness and risk assessment in order to reduce the likelihood of accidents occurring.
Once you have successfully carried out this course you will receive a certificate of training in Ride-on Mowers.
Who is it for?
Our training course will suit you if you are currently using a Ride-on mower as part of your work, and our one day course is for both the novice and experienced user who would like their skills to be verified with certification.

- Cost: Experienced 1 day: £195+VAT per person to include Lantra training, assessment, certificate, ID card, and mower hire (Covers 2 types of mower - rotary, cylinder, flail, reciprocating)
Experienced 2 days: £345+VAT per person to include Lantra training, assessment, certificate, ID card, and mower hire (Covers up to 4 types of mower - rotary, cylinder, flail, reciprocating)
Novice 2 days: £345+VAT per person to include Lantra training, assessment, certificate, ID card, and mower hire (Covers 2 types of mower - rotary, cylinder, flail, reciprocating)
Prices may vary depending on location and/or numbers - Duration: 1 day or 2 days depending on experience and mower cutting types
This is a Lantra ITA course
This means the training and assessment is carried out during the course by your instructor. You will receive both a certificate of training and an ID card (if you provide a photo!) This method saves time and is usually cheaper although the level of training is identical to Independent Assessment.
