This course will support the development of knowledge and understanding of health & safety within the construction sector.
This sector traditionally suffers from a much higher than average rate of occupational accidents, incidents, ill-health and deaths due, in part, to the nature of the work and equipment used. It is, therefore, all the more essential that suitable health & safety training is provided.
This course will support the development of knowledge and understanding of health & safety within this sector. Critically, this knowledge and understanding will be developed in such a way as to promote consistent, real-world application of good health and safety practice and compliance in accordance with law.
This course has been developed with regard to up-to-date regulation, approved codes of practice and is recognised and approved by BuildUK as an equivalency to the one day CITB Site Safety Plus Health and Safety Awareness course.

This means the training and assessment is carried out during the course by your instructor. You will receive both a certificate of training and an ID card (if you provide a photo!) This method saves time and is usually cheaper although the level of training is identical to Independent Assessment.
